Code Name: "Pinocchio"

Glory be to God, He has given us a second child, at present only 15mm tall. My daughter (3) is using the code name "Pinocchio" for this child, just as she was code named "Snicker-Doodle" for her gestation. Prayers are appreciated.

Congratulations.

When we first saw ours on the ultrasound, my first thought was, "Looks like a jelly bean," which ended up being the name that we told people (at first).

But when I told my older brother (while we were both talking on cell phones!) he thought I said "Jedda Dean". He said, "Dude, you've been in the south too long; time to come back to California!"

Eli was born last May, but we sometimes still call him "Jedda Dean".

Cheers!

I hope that Pinocvhio doesn't tell any lies while gestating for Mrs. Sumboulos's sake. That elongated nose will not be comfortable in the birth canal. ;)

Here's my deepest internet congrats. *hug*

Psa. 127:3-5 A SONG OF ASCENTS. OF SOLOMON.

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.

Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate."
